[edit] Alternative names
- Glowlight Tetra, Glo lights, Glo-light tetras, Glolight
[edit] Sexing
- Male is slimmer than the female.
[edit] Tank compatibility
- This is peaceful shoaling fish that should be kept in groups of 6 or more, and will co-habit with any other peaceful community fish. Do not keep with larger predatory fish such as Angelfish.
[edit] Diet
- Will accept most foods including small pieces of flake, micro pellets, and bloodworm.
[edit] Feeding regime
- Feed once or twice a day.
[edit] Environment Specifics
- A dimly lit planted tank will show them off best. They tend to swim a few inches off the bottom of the tank and come to the surface to feed.
[edit] Behaviour
- Good community fish, easy to keep and breed. Will closely school when stressed, then like all Tetras will disperse when relaxed.
[edit] Identification
- Looks like a pale Neon tetra with no blue colours. Albino version available. Looks very similar to the Glowlight Rasbora (Rasbora pauciperforata).
