The males of this species are brighter coloured than the females. They have vivid yellow fin tips.

They do well with other peaceful species. Will attempt to school with similar sized fish such as Zebra Danios.

A small silver fish with yellow trimmed fins. Their pectoral fins (yellow tipped in males; transparent in females) are placed high on the body, giving them a wing-like appearance. Colouration of tails gives them a forked appearance.
