These new species of snails have recently been discovered in Sulawesi, Thailand. There are many different colors and species, and are just making their debut into America.

Unknown, but they are NOT hermaphrodites.

Lays 1 egg, amount of babies produced TBA

[edit] Tank compatibility

VERY peaceful snail despite its size. Will not harm any plants, fish, or inverts.

Eats algae, left over fish food, par-boiled vegatables, fruit. Will not eat plants. Generally stays on substrate and glass since its too heavy for leaves to support its weight.

Only supplement food if necessary.

  • Must have high water temperature and a pH greater than 7.0, since those are the water conditions in Sulawesi.

Very peaceful snail. Will not harass any living creature.

Conical (cornucopia) in shape with a variety of colors. Fairly large snail (2+ inches).
