On Receipt Of Your Amphibian Amphibians often eject water as a defence when handled.

Replying to your remark, I'd heard that a lot of animals urinate on their attackers to try to confuse them by giving them a foul smell. Snakes I know do this. I wasn't aware that amphibians urinated. I thought it was water or stomach contents ejected from their mouth.
