Scoliosis is abnormal curvature of he backbone which often develops into a kink or S-like shape.

It has many causes:

  • Genetic defect
  • Bacterial or Virus infection when young
  • Nutrient deficiency (usually not enough good quality food, not enough variation in food or wrong food type). [1][2]
  • Old age
