Origin[edit]
- Sumatra, Java, and other areas of south eastern Asia.
Environment Specifics[edit]
- Comes from shallow, slow moving creeks or pools of water with highly variable pH and hardness.
- Tolerant of a wide range of water parameters as long as they are stable. A nutrient rich substrate is essential to prevent holes from forming in its leaves. Prone to growing algae on old leaves.

- Large, ovate leaves with new leaves displaying a pink/red underside.
