Origin[edit]

Central America: Pacific slope rivers of the Pacific slope from Mexico to El Salvador.


Sexing[edit]

Female Trimacs have a black blotch in the middle of the dorsal fin whereas the male does not. This feature may not be visible until the fish is approximately 2" or larger.
