'The Aquarium Club of Lancaster County'[edit]

The ACLC was formed in 1972 and is a non-profit organization devoted to the advancement of the aquarium hobby in South-Central Pennsylvania. The philosophy of the club is to provide areas of interest to the beginner as well as the advanced hobbyist. ACLC meetings are held monthly and include educational programs with interesting and knowledgable speakers, auction of aquatic items, raffles and lots of interesting fish talk. We do not meet during July and August but, we normally have special events during the summer. In the past we have had Fish Shop Hops to aquarium stores in Maryland and a behind the scenes excursion to the Academy of Natural Sciences in Philadelphia, and more exciting events are being planned for 2008. In November we have our annual BAP Auction where you can pick up some great deals on equipment and livestock and in December we celebrate the year with a Holiday Party. We encourage all people with an interest in any part of the aquarium hobby to join us at a meeting, network with other hobbyists, find that special fish or piece of equipment, find solutions to your problems and share your experiences with us.

For more information about our upcoming meetings and events go to our website http://www.aclc.us and for more club information contact Kurt Johnston our Public Relations Chairperson.
