This is an exceptionally active fish that needs very large surroundings, ideally a tank (or pond) a minimum of 243.8cm (96") long, 121.9cm (48") wide and 121.9cm (48") tall with excellent filtration. It will jump if spooked so secure lids or nets are necessary.
