==What is it?==<br />
This is a commercial product in bottle form that contains a liquid that you add to the aquarium water in controlled dosages which adds a form of Carbon for plants. It can be use to supplement [[CO2]] use and is used to reduce algae.<br />
<br />
Whilst not quite as effective as using CO2, it does provide a ready source of carbon that will not be released by aeration.<br />

Seachem's Flourish Excel uses Polycycloglutaracetal, the others are believed to contain Glutaraldehyde (C5H8O2), all a potent disinfectant if overdosed.<br />
