Must have a soft substrate as this fish likes to dig and can be quite enthusiastic about it, for this reason will uproot plants.

Behaviour[edit | edit source]

Can be aggressive and territorial towards others, especially when spawning.

Identification[edit | edit source]

Colouration on this Cichlid varies depending on its origin. It resembles a hybrid of a Jack Dempsey and a Severum.
