Alternative Names[edit]

Angustifolia
Used to be sold as Anubias afzelii but A.afzelii is actually a much larger plant.

Environment Specifics[edit]

A very easy plant much like its cousin Anubias barteri var. nana. Not eaten by most herbivores, it has a very bitter taste. Does best tied with fishing line to rock or bogwood and will rot if placed directly into the substrate. Propagation by splitting of the rhizome or by pollination.

Identification[edit]

Has narrow slender but tough bright green tough leaves rising from a rhizome.
