Tank compatibility[edit | edit source]
- Like all African Cichlids, these are cave dwellers, and medium aggressive, can be kept with any African Lake Cichlids. They will show more aggression to other Cichlids of the yellowish shades. Not a community fish
Environment specifics[edit | edit source]
- High PH substrate like crushed coral, and water hardness at 8-20. They prefer 23.9-25.6°C (75-78°F) temperatures.
Behaviour[edit | edit source]
- Aggressive cave dweller, territorial. Keep with lots of rocks and caves.
Identification[edit | edit source]
- Long slender body, solid lemon yellow colour, with pointed facial features, very unlike other African Cichlid body styles.
