Help:Contents/Images and media/Using the Gallery tag

The gallery tag is used when you want to present two or more images in a tidy format.

It consists of <gallery> and </gallery> and inbetween them you add a simple image tag with optional title for each image.

For example

<gallery>
Image:Betta Imbellis01.jpg
Image:Betta splendens4.jpg
</gallery>

or optionally add a title

<gallery>
Image:Betta Imbellis01.jpg|Betta fish
Image:Betta splendens4.jpg|More Betta fish
</gallery>

or optionally include a link in the title

<gallery>
Image:Betta Imbellis01.jpg|Betta fish
Image:Betta splendens4.jpg|More [[Betta]] fish
</gallery>

or optionally include a caption for the Gallery

<gallery Caption="Here is my collection of Bettas">
Image:Betta Imbellis01.jpg
Image:Betta splendens4.jpg
</gallery>

If you want it centred horizontally on the page, simply surround the <gallery> tag like this

<center>
<gallery Caption="Here is my collection of Bettas">
Image:Betta Imbellis01.jpg
Image:Betta splendens4.jpg
</gallery>
</center>

Examples of the above:

or

or

or

or centred...
