these pages really need a clean up, all the disease articles are scattered all over. --Cat 17:21, 3 March 2008 (CST)

Yes, my fault. I suggest two categories diseases and parasites. Then different diseases/parasites can be sub-divided into articles. Trouble is some people call an illness a disease when it's actually a parasite infection.

Bacteria is a big enough subject to have its own category as well.

i agree, and have the two linked somewhere prominant. next to fish species and fish care, fish illness has to be the most queried subject. each of the pages seem to have varied layouts too, a uniform one to cover all diseases, and all parasites, needs to be done i think. it's a big project, but would draw in a lot of visitors if done well. --Cat 05:30, 7 March 2008 (CST)

I agree. It's the most looked for subject after fish profiles. But let's have a simple list of ailments (with descriptions) so that people can browse and narrow their search for a solution. May be call it 'Fish ailments'. :-) Then we can add it to the front page.

Hard part is going to get photos. I think we can ask the aquarium medical companies for these. They should have plenty. I'll ask Doctor Burgess of the AAS, he's aware of us.
