- This fish is best kept singly or in pairs, a pair bonds for life. Will not get on with invertebrates and will nip corals. Do not keep with other Butterflyfish.
Environment specifics[edit]
- Requires a spacious mature tank with plenty of open swimming space as well as hiding places in live rock. It will nip at soft corals so is not generally reef safe.
Identification[edit]
- A distinctive Butterflyfish. It's body is pale blue-grey in colour with slender dark diagonal lines done the body. There is yellow colouration around the mouth, pectoral and anal fins and on the belly.
